Who we are

Cave Digital UK ("we", "us") is a trading name of Spencer Cave, a sole trader based in England. We're responsible for the personal information collected through this website. You can contact us at hello@cavedigitaluk.com.

What we collect

When you use the contact form, we collect the details you give us: your name, business name, email address, phone number if you add it, and your message.

The question assistant on this site runs entirely in your browser. What you type into it isn't sent to us or stored anywhere.

Why we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if you'd like, to arrange a call and provide a quote. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: responding to a business enquiry you've sent us. We won't add you to a mailing list or share your details for marketing.

Who else handles it

This website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider, which processes form submissions on our behalf. Some providers store data outside the UK. Where they do, they use approved safeguards to protect it.

How long we keep it

If we don't go on to work together, we delete your enquiry within 12 months. If you become a client, we keep records for as long as needed for the work and for tax purposes.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email us and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
